Aligned Elements respects your privacy. This policy explains what information may be collected when you use our website, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information You Provide
You may voluntarily provide information through forms on this website, including your name, email address, the content of a contact message, and any other information you choose to submit.
We use that information to respond to inquiries, deliver requested resources, provide updates you asked for, manage subscriber communications, and operate and improve Aligned Elements.
Your Alignment Starter Responses
The online Alignment Starter keeps your reflection responses in browser session state on your own device while you use it. We do not intentionally send Alignment Starter reflection answers, free-text entries, Alignment Snapshot selections, or chosen focus areas to Google Analytics.
The current Version 1 experience does not intentionally store those reflection responses in a remote Aligned Elements database. If you provide a name and email through the separate email capture, only the information submitted through that capture is sent through our existing form and subscriber infrastructure.
If future versions allow users to create accounts or save reflections, this policy may be updated to describe those practices.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate website usage and improve the site. Analytics is optional. The Google Analytics tag is not loaded until you choose Allow Analytics. If you choose No Thanks, our Google Analytics implementation is not initialized.
When analytics is allowed, it may include information such as pages visited, navigation between pages, interaction with certain site features, general device and browser information, and the approximate technical usage information Google Analytics normally generates.
We configure our analytics implementation to avoid intentionally sending names, email addresses, reflection answers, form responses, or other submitted personal content to Google Analytics. Advertising storage remains denied, Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled, and no Meta Pixel or advertising tracker is part of this implementation.
Analytics Cookies
If you allow analytics, Google Analytics may use first-party analytics cookies, including _ga-related cookies. If you decline analytics, the Google Analytics tag is not loaded, we do not intentionally initiate measurement, and analytics cookies should not be created by our Google Analytics implementation.
If you change your preference from allowed to declined, our implementation stops sending future analytics events and attempts to clear reachable Google Analytics cookies set on this site's domain. We cannot control every browser or vendor storage mechanism.
Your Analytics Choice
You may allow analytics, decline analytics, or change your choice later. Your preference is stored locally in your browser and can be revisited at any time using the control in the site footer.
Email and Contact Forms
Information you submit through website forms is transmitted and processed by Web3Forms, the form delivery service currently used to operate our contact form and email capture, and is delivered to the Aligned Elements inbox. We use those details to respond to you and to manage the communications you requested.
Third-Party Services
The services currently involved in operating this website are Google Analytics, used only after you allow analytics; Web3Forms, used to deliver form submissions; and our website hosting and content delivery infrastructure, which processes standard technical request information required to serve the site.
External Links
This site links to external websites and Connected Works, including destinations outside Aligned Elements. Those sites are governed by their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them.
Children's Privacy
This website is not intentionally designed to collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that personal information from a child under 13 was collected without appropriate authorization, we may take reasonable steps to remove it.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to this website to help protect information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Data Retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to operate the website and communications, or as otherwise required by applicable obligations.
Your Privacy Choices
You may contact us regarding access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, questions about personal information, or your subscriber preferences. Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional privacy rights.
